The Province of Dinagat Islands (PDI) recognized DOLE Satellite Office for its implementation of COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) and Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Displaced/ Disadvantaged Workers #BarangayKoBuhayKo (TUPAD #BKBK) thru a Sangguniang Resolution.

The Office of the Secretary for the Sangguniang Panlalawigan released the Resolution No. NPDJ – 1500 (5th SP Series of 2020) duly adopted by the Provincial Vice-Governor Honorable Nilo P. Demery Jr. and attested by Sangguniang Secretary Honorable Segundino S. Basadre during their regular session on August 4, 2020 in recognition to DOLE PDISO team headed by Mr. Verlan V. Diaz for their efforts in implementing CAMP and TUPAD #BKBK in the province. As stated in the resolution: “To recognize and appreciate the successful and efficient implementation of the so called COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) – Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers, Barangay Ko, Buhay Ko Disinfection Program (TUPAD #BKBK), and other DOLE Emergency and Employment Programs.”

According to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the resolution is an expression of gratitude to DOLE for its commitment to help the Dinagatnons especially to those who are greatly affected by COVID-19 pandemic. The DOLE PDISO was also honored for the recognition, which motivates them to implement the services and programs of DOLE in the province more efficiently.

DOLE PDISO assisted 1,275 beneficiaries with a total of Php 4,080,000.00 for the implementation of TUPAD #BKBK. As for CAMP, the provincial office released a total of Php 2,420,000.00 financial assistance to 484 workers from the formal sector
