The Department of Labor and Employment Agusan del Norte Field Office (DOLE ADNFO) facilitated the turnover ceremony of equipment and tools amounting to P996,888.00 to the Farmers of Peace and Progress Agriculture Cooperative for their Cacao Production and Processing Project. The project aims to help improve the socio-economic status of its members and facilitate “tablea” production in the province.

Kami sa cooperative among paningkamutan na mulambo pa aron mahatagan ug bili ang tanan pag paning kamot namo sa sulod sa cooperative, sa mga nitabang sa among cooperative ug sa mga umaabot na henerasyon aron maka export sab mi sa among produkto na lami na quality sa tablea na gikan sa atong lugar,” the Chairman of the Farmers of Peace and Progress Agriculture Cooperative Renato Manabat shared.

DOLE ADNFO Head Keith C. Duran extended his gratitude to partner stakeholders and beneficiaries and underscored the importance of the project’s sustainability through the consistent maintenance of the equipment awarded.

Also present to witness the turnover were the project’s Accredited Co-Partner, BLGU-DULAG, Butuan City PESO Manager Daisy C. Mala and Ms. Elina Negrido from the Department of Agrarian Reform.
