DOLE Surigao del Norte Provincial Office released hog raising individual livelihood projects to 37 beneficiaries amounting to Php 676,360.00 under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

She also discussed other services of DOLE that they can avail. Mr. Arnaldo A. Anito, DOLE SDN provincial livelihood focal person, gave an overview of DILP with a short orientation on the cycle of hog raising.

The beneficiaries were also oriented with the techniques and ways of feeding the hogs and received a pre-starter pellets from the Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation. The proprietor of 5n1 Agrivet Supply explained the methods on how to raise hogs properly with the vaccine and deworming plan.
