The Department of Labor and Employment Agusan del Norte Field Office (DOLE ADNFO) conducted a back-to-back TUPAD Payout last May 5-7, 2022, releasing P13,752,000 as wages of the 2,232 TUPAD beneficiaries from the nine barangays of Tubay, Agusan del Norte and 633 TUPAD beneficiaries from the twenty-five barangays in Butuan City.

Each beneficiary received P4,800 for their 15-day work rendered. Through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program, the beneficiaries became involved with community-based activities such as the de-clogging of canals, and cleaning and disinfection of public places. The salary received by the beneficiaries will augment their daily needs and provide for their basic necessities.

The pay-out was led by Ms. Jenilibeth Manzanares, DOLE ADNFO’s TUPAD focal person together with the DOLE TUPAD coordinators.

With the determination to provide quality service and improve the socio-economic status of each and every beneficiary, DOLE ADNFO is relentlessly exerting all its efforts in implementing TUPAD and conducting more pay outs in the province.

TUPAD is an institutionalized, community-based amelioration program aimed at helping displaced, underemployed, and seasonal workers during calamities, both natural and man-made.
