The Department of Labor and Employment in Caraga region commenced the provision of P5, 000 financial aid to each worker under the DOLE Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP 3).

The Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP 3) is a safety net program that provides a one-time financial support of P5, 000 to workers in the private sector who have been displaced or affected by the implementation of Alert level 3 or higher in their respective areas.

One of the beneficiaries, Ms. Lea Gemao, expressed her gratitude for the cash assistance received from the program. She wrote thru email: “Ma’am/Sir, salamat kayo kay na approve ang akong application for CAMP 3. Salamat sa Ginoo kay na ok og salamat sa inju taga DOLE kay nalipay jud kaayo ang akong family for this cash assistance, dako nani na tabang labina sa panahon nato sa pandemic.”

DOLE Caraga Regional Director Joffrey M. Suyao expressed the department’s commitment to assist displaced workers through these trying times. “Private establishments that have implemented a temporary or permanent closure or retrenchment from January 2022 onwards and have reported the same to the DOLE Establishment Reporting System (ERS) may apply their employees to the program, provided that the displacement is caused by the implementation of Alert Level 3 or higher in the area where the workplace is located. In addition, individuals who are qualified for the program, those whose employment faced issues such as suspension or displacement due to the implementation of Alert level 3 or higher in their areas, may also avail of the financial grant themselves. Eligible businesses or qualified individuals may submit their application through DOLE’s online application system:,” RD Suyao said.
