This will be a great help for all of us. This livelihood is an answered prayer for each of the members’ family. We are very thankful that in spite of our disabilities, there are still people who are willing to help. We will assure that this assistance will be sustained by our members and of the informal sector,”) said Virginia Calo, the association president.
“It is important that you take care of the funds granted to you by the department since not all rural worker’s associations are given this opportunity. Besides, the main purpose of the program is to give support despite of your conditions. DOLE is hopeful that the project will serve its purpose, that is to improve the lives of the members and to help their children”, said Mr. Magallen.
