San Francisco, Agusan del Sur– One hundred and seventy-nine (179) workers from Work Expert and Allied Services Inc., a manpower services provider of Tren2 Agru-Industries Inc., received their monetary benefits through the Single-Entry Approach (SeNA) facilitated by DOLE Agusan del Sur Provincial Office.
The said monetary benefits constitute the pro-rated 13th month pay, proportionate Service Incentive Leave (Sil) pay, and last payroll salary amounting to a total of One Million Three Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen and Twenty-Two Centavos (Php 1,359,514.22).
The payment was made in Tren2 Agri-Industries Inc. supervised by DOLE ADSPO Officer-In-Charge Maximo C. Magallen Jr. together with SeNA Desk Officer (SEADO) in charge Engr. Rey P. Dumalaba on February 18. 2021. Present also were the management representative of Tren2 Agri-Industies Inc.m and workers representative
The workers were thankful, as shared by the worker’s representative Mr. Reynan Salem, “Kami nga isip trabahante sa usa ka pribadong kumpanya nga midangop sa inyung ahensya aron sa pagpangayo ug tabang sa pag sulbad sa among problema kinasing kasing kaming magpasalamat sa inyong aksyon ug pagtabang aron pagsulbad sa among problema. Salamat kayo.” (“We, workers of the private company, sincerely express our warmest gratitude to DOLE for the immediate action and assistance to settle our problems with our employer and receive our monetary claims. Thank you very much”).
SeNA is a reformed measure institutionalized by DOLE to provide fast, impartial, inexpensive and accessible settlement procedure of all labor issues or conflicts to avoid them from ripening into a full-blown dispute. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, DOLE continues to conduct the program as it upholds its commitment to aid the workers in both formal and informal sector.
