1,219 beneficiaries in the province of Surigao del Sur received their salary from Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa Displaced/ Disadvantage (TUPAD) Workers #BarangayKoBahayKo (#BKBK) Program. A total of 3,900,800.00 was released to the beneficiaries to compensate the 10-day disinfection/ sanitation work.

Another P422,400.00 shall be released on May 1, 2020 for 66 beneficiaries in lGU Cagwait and 66 in LGU Cortes. Further, DOLE Caraga Regional Office is already processing the salaries of the additional 205 beneficiaries amounting to P656,000.00.

TUPAD #BKBK is one of the programs of the government facilitated by DOLE to aid the informal sector workers who are affected by the current pandemic COVID-19.
