Government and Private Partners donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to DOLE Caraga

Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) Caraga and Libjo Mining Corporation donated sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to DOLE Caraga.

Two (2) boxes each of surgical and KN95 face masks and surgical gloves were given by OCD Caraga thru the effort of the Regional Director Liza Rosales Mazo on August 24, 2020, while two (2) packs of face masks, three (3) gallons of alcohol, one (1) gallon of disinfectant, thirty (30) pieces of body suits, and thirty (30) pieces of face shields were received on August 14, 2020 from Libjo Mining Corporation thru the leadership of OIC Resident Manager Engr. Jared R. Diongson.

The PPEs will be utilized by DOLE personnel in the delivery of frontline services to include catering the returning OFWs during their arrival from the air and sea ports to the respective government units and releasing of salaries to the displaced workers provided with emergency employment in this time of crisis.

OCD Caraga is a partner agency of DOLE Caraga in the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Program and Libjo Mining Corporation is an active member of Mining Industrial Tripartite Council  where DOLE is the Chair.
