Caraga RTMB Convenes to Discuss 3 Alleged Extrajudicial Killings and Harassment

Caraga Regional Tripartite Monitoring Board (RTMB) convened on January 13, 2020 to discuss the submitted reports and documents for the three (3) cases of alleged extrajudicial killings and harassment. It was attended by several government agencies in the region including Commission on Human Rights (CHR), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Department of Justice (DOJ), and National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC).  Both PNP and CHR presented progress reports relative to the cases. The body proposed recommendations subject for endorsement to NTIPC-MB through the Bureau of Labor Relations (BLR) for its final resolution.

 

On March 2, 2020, another meeting was held together with the RTIPC Members to discuss the recommendations made by RTMB meeting on January 13, 2020. It was decided that there should be a Resolution for the formal endorsement of the agreements reached during the last the RTMB meeting. RTIPC members officially signed the said Resolution on same date of the meeting copy furnished all RTIPC members, parties and partner government agencies.
