TRABAHO, NEGOSYO, KABUHAYAN: 

 

WORK SUMMIT 2017 IN SIARGAO

 

The Province of Surigao del Norte in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment- Caraga will be holding a Work Summit: Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) on September 24, 2017 in General Luna, Surigao del Norte. Honorable Silvestre H. Bello III, Labor and Employment Secretary was invited by Governor Sol F. Matugas to be the Guest of Honor of the said event.

 

 

 

TNK is the Blueprint of Decent Employment and Entrepreneurship for 2017-2022 signed by the Department of Labor and Employment and the Department of Trade and Industry. This aims to offer employment opportunities through the conduct of job fairs and build entrepreneurial culture in local communities such as Siargao Island, thereby bringing the government services closer to the people.

The Work Summit in General Luna, Surigao del Norte will provide several services other than TNK.

 

 

 

The Provincial Government of SDN is inviting other agencies such as Social Security System, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, Land Transportation Office (LTO), TESDA, Philippine Statistics Agency (PSA), the 30th Infantry Python Battalion and other private establishments.

 

Here is the complete list of services to be offered by different agencies:

     For the job fair, the following are employers confirmed to join:

Jobseekers may pre-register at their respective PESO Managers in the municipalities or by signing up at the Phil-Jobnet in http://philjobnet.gov.ph/.

 

Aside from the services of the different agencies, the officers of Siargao Tripartite Peace Council will have their Oath Taking before the Hon. Sec. Bello III during the Work Summit. The STIPC was created last July 13, 2017 in the island of Siargao by the DOLE-Surigao del Norte. They will serve as conduit of the DOLE in a forum for consultation and discussions among the social partners where they can generate consensus on issues and problems pertaining to employment. ©DOLESDNFO
